David and his wife Penne’ moved to Pagosa Springs in 1986 and both enjoyed successful careers in education with Archuleta School District. They are the proud parents of three children and seven grandchildren. David received his undergraduate degree in geology from Brigham Young University and his master’s degree in Education Leadership from Adams State University. David considers himself a lifelong learner and enjoys reading, learning new things, fishing, mountain biking, volunteering, and family history.
