Barb joined our team in September 2024 with over thirty years of award-winning experience leading libraries in Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin and Colorado.  In 2007, Barb was named Colorado Librarian of the Year. She is thrilled to be back in the San Juans and honored to lead the Ruby M. Sisson Memorial Library through this exciting time in its history. When she's not at the library, you can catch her hiking with her Anatolian Shepherd Gigi, traveling the world, visiting her four beautiful grandchildren, or, you guessed it, reading !
