Computer / Technology Class

Come to the library on Thursdays at 1pm to learn a useful technology skill or application. Topics will vary each week.

• January 4th Computer Basics: Getting Started. Learn the basics of using a computer and practice using a mouse. No computer experience required.
• January 11th Basics of Internet Searching. Learn the basics skills needed to effectively search and navigate the internet.
• January 18th Microsoft Excel Basics. You will learn the basics of Excel by creating a basic budget spreadsheet and making Excel do all the math for you!
• January 25th Viruses and Malware Basics. Learn about Malware threats, how to tell if a computer is infected, and how to install and use a high quality free antivirus program.
