Join Mark in this fun and informative course to learn about the basics of fly-fishing and to practice your skills. Mark will provide classroom instruction at the library to talk about fly fishing equipment, tactics, and common fly fishing knots on Tuesday, June 26 from 9 - 11 AM.
Demonstration and casting practice will be held at Yamaguchi Park on Thursday, June 28 from 9 - 11 AM.
An optional field trip to the river will take place on Saturday, July 30. (The exact time and place will be announced in class.)

A limited supply of fly rods and equipment will be available to practice casting at the park, but you are encouraged to bring your own fly rod and equipment if possible.
A valid fishing license is required to fish on any river or lake.
