Climate Reality -Meeting the Challenge Head On Presenters: Holly Metzler
This presentation will discuss the causes and effects of climate change, and what we can do about it. As a life-long resident of Pagosa Springs, CO, Holly Metzler was first introduced to the concept of climate change by Dr. Jamison as a student at Fort Lewis College in the early ‘90’s. As the years have progressed, she has witnessed the predictions of the effects of climate change happen right here in our region of the world. She is currently working on her Masters in Environmental Policy from the University of Denver.

Romancing the Old West Presenters: San Juan Shootists
The San Juan Shootists are a community organization and club that teaches safe and responsible firearms handling while promoting a sport steeped in the romance and legend of the Old West. This engaging presentation will feature the San Juan Shootists, including Mongo, Wench, Possum, and Honey Badger, in period costumes with their .45 caliber single action Colts. This presentation will include a live demo (minus the bullets!).
